Is Disney Aulani closing?
Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, was the last Disney property in the world to shut its doors way back in late March of 2020. The hotel, located on the island of O’ahu in Hawaii, reopened to the public on November 1, 2020 and has been operating ever since at reduced capacity.
How much does it cost to stay at the Aulani Resort in Hawaii?
The Aulani 2018 published rates for the week we were in Aulani were $665/night for each room, essentially $1330/night. A 1-bedroom villa (sleeps 5) was $819/night and a 2-bedroom villa (sleeps 9) was $1959/night. We paid the $665/night times two rooms plus taxes and feed.

Overall: Aulani is definitely not worth the trip for the Disney experience, because there really is no Disney experience. Definitely not worth the trip for a resort stay, there are so many other properties offering more diverse and comfortable amentities in a better location for a more complete vacation.

The drive from Aulani to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center takes approximately 20-25 minutes and is a distance of roughly 18 miles. You will definitely want to make reservations (for free) in advance of your stay, starting two months in advance of your scheduled visit date.
