Can you refuse to pay resort fees in Vegas?
You do not legally have to pay any hotel resort fee. Resort fees are in violation of Nevada’s Deceptive Trade Practices Law. You legally can and should refuse to pay any hotel resort fee. For more information on how to do that, visit here.

Does Luxor charge a deposit?
Incidental Deposit $50 per night. We will place an authorization on credit or debit card to cover applicable charges for room, tax and resort fees, as well as a $50 incidental amount per day to allow you access to room charging privileges.
How do you get a resort fee waived?
One of the easiest ways to avoid resort fees is by booking an award stay. Many hotels will waive the resort fees on stays booked with points. Hyatt and Hilton always waive resort fees when you book a room with points.
How do you get MGM resort fees waived?
Even if you’re set on a resort that does charge a resort fee, there may be a chance of getting it waived. If you book with a travel agent, you can request that your agent call the general manager of the property on your behalf and ask the hotel to remove the resort fee from your stay.

Yes this is true to a certain extent, playing at any machine on the casino floor entitles the player to free drink however a $1 tip per drink it expected by the drinks waitress! A 1 drink per player per order policy is in effect in most if not all casinos! The waitresses will accept tips but your drink is free.
